ABOUT

I am a Senior Lecturer and Anatomy Lead in the College of Health and Life Sciences at London South Bank University, alongside clinical practice as an MSK Sonographer within Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. My work sits primarily at the intersection of anatomy education and musculoskeletal ultrasound, with a particular interest in how imaging can be used to support the understanding of clinically relevant anatomy.

My work in higher education spans anatomy and ultrasound teaching, curriculum development, assessment, course validation and accreditation and postgraduate education. I also serve as Ultrasound Demonstrator in the Medical School at University of Cambridge contributing to imaging-based anatomy teaching for medical students.

Before moving into academia, I worked clinically across musculoskeletal practice, including professional football and private practice in London. This clinical experience continues to inform the way I approach anatomy and teaching, particularly the relationship between anatomical structure, clinical examination, imaging and diagnosis.​​

My wider academic and professional activities include serving as Associate Editor of the Journal of Clinical Ultrasound, a CASE Accreditor and Chair of the WFATT Research and Education Committee. I also contribute to higher education and professional practice through external examining, peer review and invited teaching.

I am a Senior Fellow of Advance HE. My scholarly interests focus particularly on clinical anatomy, musculoskeletal ultrasound and the integration of imaging with anatomy teaching and clinical practice.
